Wow. There is NOTHING lazy about having a cesarean section. You literally have your stomach CUT OPEN, your pretty much lifeless body being pulled and yanked around as they pull some of your INTERNAL ORGANS OUT so they can then pull a human being out of a place that it wasn't meant to come out of. Then once they make sure your baby is alive (because most c-sections are due to an emergency with the mother or child and not a choice to do) they strategically put all of your inter ... nal organs back in and sew you up. Did i mention that you're AWAKE THE WHOLE TIME?!? You can't get up and can hardly move for at least 2 days. You are in constant pain, you can't lift weight so you can't pick up your baby or really do anything for it as you just had a MAJOR ABDOMINAL SURGERY and there's risk of your stitches ripping open and your internal organs trying to make their way back out. There's phantom pain and numbness at the incision site that you have to deal with for a while afterward and for some mom's, it's forever as the nerves that were cut open basically die. I can say all of this with certainty as I am a C-section mom. I did what I had to do to make sure my girl came into this world as complication free as possible as she was in fetal distress. It was NOT "easy" or "lazy" as Kate Hudson put it. It was painful and terrifying. They don't put a curtain up so you can't see what's happening to your body if it was a damn walk in the park. So if any of you moms catch a hard time from others for not doing it the "natural way" or "taking the easy way out" or being "lazy".... send them my way. I'll happily show them my scar and my happy healthy child that I have to show for all that I went through. Fuck you Kate Hudson. tea and calf length wears for a formal occasion
